H&M MEMBER DAY

To mark H&M’s Members Day and reward their loyal customers, H&M transformed their flagship Toronto store at the Eaton Centre into a high-style celebration. Rooted in H&M’s signature colour palette of red, black, and white, the event was exclusively for members, and gave them the opportunity to indulge in a unique fashion experience. With custom services like embroidery to make their purchases their own, shareable photo moments, and branded snacks and mocktails to sip while they shopped, we alongside H&M delivered a full-sensory and memorable brand experience.

The Red Mirror Moment

The centrepiece of the event was a three-panel mirrored backdrop, which was ideated, designed and fabricated by us at Mad Bash Group. The photo moment was inspired by mirrors that you’d find inside change rooms, but fully wrapped in H&M’s iconic red, with red LED lighting, a 3D logo, and a custom red riser. Guests were invited to have their photos taken against the backdrop that glittered with reflected light, for a shareable and fun photo moment.

Custom Touches: Embroidery and Fashion Sketches

H&M wanted a playful and creative way for members to make their purchases even more personal, so we booked experiential service Limitless to deliver on-site custom embroidery. Guests could choose their fonts, thread colours, and have their initials, name, or other word embroidered on their garment, making their piece their very own.

Members could also have their portraits drawn in the style of a fashion sketch by live illustrator By Lauren P, resulting in a lasting memento that would remind them of their joyful H&M experiences every time they look at it.

SHOpping in style

Guests were invited to shop in style while enjoying red mocktails and branded red macarons. A stunning tower of cakes in H&M’s red and black brand colours, set against the back of the mirrored photo installation, added drama to the space, and guests were invited to bring a slice home with them in a branded cake box. Charcuterie cups made with premium ingredients replenished guests with a mid-shopping nosh. Each detail, from the bold flavours to the branded charcuterie cups to the colour of the mocktails was intentional, and transformed the members’ traditional shopping trip into a luxurious, sensory experience.
