To mark the launch of their new line of bedroom furniture, Canadian mattress brand Endy welcomed media and influencers to a real Toronto home to experience their catalogue IRL at the Endy Open House!

Engaged by communications agency Heads + Tales in an Event Design capacity, we at Mad Bash Group designed and styled the event’s front entrance, panel discussion space, and immersive photo moments and activations, all crafted to engage guests and showcase Endy products!

LIFE-SIZE ENDY TAG FOR A WOW-MOMENT EVENT ENTRANCE

When your venue is a real home in a residential neighbourhood, it’s important to make it stand out. We fabricated a life-sized version of Endy’s distinct mattress product tag for the home’s front porch, and rolled out a hot-pink carpet from the sidewalk to the front door!

DESIGNING THE PERFECT PANEL DISCUSSION SPACE

Using a timeless neutral colour palette accented with bold pops of Endy’s signature pink, we transformed the living room into a beautiful conversation space. Panelists were seated in comfortable armchairs in front of an arched vinyl backdrop. A soft neutral rug set a relaxed tone, while playful florals in lomey dishes and speckled ceramic vases added interest with organic lines and textures. Guests were seated in white and natural cane chairs, creating a comfortable and approachable environment for a panel discussion on personal style and design trends.

UNEXPECTED PRODUCT DISPLAYS THAT CAPTIVATE GUESTS

Perhaps the most talked-about feature was our immersive Dreamland activation, showcasing Endy’s bedding line. To capture the feeling of snuggling under your fluffiest duvet, this imaginative product display featured billowing Endy linens, floating pillows, and soft piles of duvets.

We started by lining the 12x12 bedroom with pipe and drape, and suspended delicate wooden beams from the ceiling. We then installed silver mirrored floor vinyl with the Endy logo in the centre, for a reflective effect. Endy pillows were suspended from the ceiling with fishing line, and Endy sheets draped over wooden rods. In one corner we used hidden plinths to layer Endy duvets into a giant cozy pile. A soft sunset light brought a dreamy glow to the space, beckoning guests into the transformed room, inviting them to touch the products, and snap their dreamiest moments!

HOW TO TURN PACKAGING INTO A PHOTO-WORTHY BACKDROP

Since Endy is known for its unboxing videos on social, we wanted to turn a full wall of the house into an Endy box photo backdrop! With some boxes stacked, others popped open to reveal plush pillows and neatly folded Endy muslin blankets, the wall was a nod to the brand’s social media roots. Pops of pink florals and a wavy pink vinyl flooring added interest and subtly guided guests to the perfect photo spot!

On the second floor, the Endy Open House featured bedrooms designed by tastemakers Abhishek Dekate, Samantha Pynn, and Dani Roche. As part of our Event Design package, we assisted these stylists by helping behind the scenes, and ensuring that all details were set by the time guests arrived!
